The Village Hall will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Friday, December 26, 2025.

The Village Hall will be closed on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and Thursday, January 01, 2026.

Village Hall will be closed to the public January 26, 2026 through January 29, 2026 (all day) for staff training. Please plan accordingly.

Preliminary Historical District Study Report

Your input is an important part of the evaluation process and will help inform future planning and preservation initiatives.

The Historic District Study Committee held a public hearing to hear public comments on the preliminary Historic District Study Report on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. before the Regular Council Meeting.

On July 5, 2024, Berrien County filed its Notice of Intent to prepare the Materials Management Plan (MMP) and has become the County Approval Agency as required per Part 115, Solid Waste Management, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act,1994 PA 451, as amended. The MMP will be a multi-county plan among Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties. Information about the MMP Planning Committee, along with committee meeting notices, will be posted at www.swmpc.org/materials_mngt.asp. MMP Committee Meetings are open to the public.
